State Road 436 (SR 436), named Semoran Boulevard, is a major roadway in the Orlando area. Starting at the intersection with US 441 in Apopka, 436 runs east and intersects with Interstate 4 (I-4), and then begins to turn to the south after the intersection with US 17 and US 92. Heading south, the state road designation ends at SR 528 (also known as the Beachline), but the road continues to head south as the main access road to Orlando International Airport.

Constructed in the late 1960's, the road passes through Seminole County, Florida and Orange County, Florida. Because of this, the common name for SR 436 was a combination of the names of the two counties: "Sem" and "oran", hence "Semoran Boulevard". Strangely though, the name is not pronounced phonetically. The correct pronunciation of "Semoran" is "Semaron".^{[[Citing sources citation needed]]}
