Known locally as Oakland Park Boulevard, Florida State Road 816 is a 9.8-mile-long east-west commercial and commuter highway serving central Broward County, Florida. The western terminus of SR 816 is an intersection with North University Drive (SR 817) in Sunrise (Oakland Park Boulevard continues another 3.9 miles in Sunrise, to an interchange with the Sawgrass Expressway/SR 869 near Sawgrass Mills Mall and BankAtlantic Center); the eastern terminus is an intersection with Ocean Boulevard (SR A1A) in Fort Lauderdale. Other cities served by SR 816 are Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, and Wilton Manors.

Shopping centers are regularly-spaced on Oakland Park Boulevard west of its interchange with Interstate 95 (SR 9). State Road 816 snakes through residential developments throughout its length.
