Stereo 974 is the on air identification for community licenced radio station 3WRB (Western Radio Broadcasters) in Melbourne, Australia. 3WRB / Stereo 974 is predominantly non-English in its program output, with the major language being Vietnamese. Daytime programs from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday are in English, with Breakfast, Weeknights and weekends reserved for non-English speaking communities in the west of Melbourne. The radio station commenced broadcasting mid 1980s, and is heard on 97.4 MHz
Other western suburbs radio stations include MeltonFM, 3WYN, and Bachus March based 3APL-FM. Also in Melbourne's west radio station 3XX has enhanced its local position with its plans to move studios to their intended home in Melbourne's WEST.
