Steve Hindalong

Steve Hindalong (born November 29, 1959) is an American drummer, percussionist, songwriter and producer best known for his work with the rock band The Choir.

In the late 1990s, Hindalong became one of the most well respected producers in Nashville when he received numerous awards for his City On A Hill project. That collection included the song "God of Wonders", co written by Hindalong and Marc Byrd, which won a Dove Award for song of the year and was used by NASA to wake up astronauts on the space shuttle.

Aside from producting the City on a Hill projects, Hindalong has also produced albums for The Prayer Chain, The Throes, Caedmon's Call, The Waiting (band), Common Children, First Call, Morella's Forest, Hoi Polloi, Duraluxe, and others.

Hindalong frequently plays percussion for other artists as well, including The Lost Dogs, Terry Scott Taylor, Daniel Amos, Emmylou Harris, Mark Heard, Buddy and Julie Miller, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, LSU, Jimmy Abegg, Phil Madeira, The Violet Burning, Polarboy, Michael Knott, White Heart, All-Star United and others.
