Steven has won the Bathurst 1000 twice—in 1998 in a Ford Falcon with Jason Bright and in 1999 with Greg Murphy in a Holden Commodore.
Before taking up motor racing fulltime, Steven served his apprenticeship as an aircraft engineer.
