Straits of Moyle

The Straits of Moyle (Sruth na Maoile in Irish and Scottish Gaelic) is the name given to the area of sea between northeastern Ireland and southwestern Scotland. The distance is short, and from certain areas it is possible to sight land on the other side of the straits in clear weather conditions.
