Strip Search is made for television movie on the controversial topic of personal freedom versus national security. It stars Glenn Close, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Bruno Lastra.

The film follows several parallel stories, in the aftermath of 9/11. Two main subplots involve an American woman detained in China and an Arabic man detained in New York City. Screened at the Monaco Film Premiere with Sidney Lumet in person presenting his film, in the presence of the writer Tom Fontana [link]. As implied by the name, Maggie Gyllenhall and Bruno Lastra characters are strip-searched by government officers.
