Stuart Braithwaite

Stuart Braithwaite born May 10, 1976, is the lead member of the post-rock band Mogwai, based in Glasgow. Stuart's mother is from the small village of Flesherin, in the Outer Hebrides. He is also a supporter of Celtic FC. He has a home in Glasgow, where he lives with his wife, Grainne and two dogs Princess and Rambo. He grew up listening to records by Joy Division, The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, and many other artists. The Velvet Underground's song "Heroin" was the first song he learned to play on the guitar.
