Sue Jeffers (born October 3rd, 1956) is a small business owner and candidate for Governor of Minnesota. Jeffers is challenging incumbent Tim Pawlenty for the Republican Party nomination, after declining endorsement from the Libertarian Party of Minnesota.
Background
Jeffers was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and grew up in Mankato and Richfield, MN. She lives in New Brighton, MN, and has owned Stub and Herbs Restaurant near the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis since 1979. Jeffers has been a proponent for lower taxes and property rights, and led a successful effort to [revise] Hennepin County's smoking ban.External links
