Suita (吹田市; -shi) is a city located in northern Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is connected to central Osaka by Hankyu Railway's Senri & Kyoto line, the Midosuji Subway/Kita-Osaka Kyukou, and by JR's Kyoto Line. The Osaka Monorail also passes through the area, connecting the city to Osaka city, the Expo Park and Osaka Airport.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 351,887 and the density of 9,744.86 persons per km². The total area is 36.11 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1940.
