Sumburgh Airport is the main airport serving Shetland in Scotland. It is located on the southern tip of the mainland, nearly 40 km south of Lerwick. The airport is owned by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited and served by Loganair and Highland Airways. There are direct flights from Sumburgh Airport to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, London and internationally to Vágar, in the Faroe Islands.
