*Tazz had Lawler in the Tazzmission, but Jim Ross hit Tazz in the head with a glass jar or candy. When Tazz was knocked out, Lawler made the cover for the pinfall. (4:25)
**Test and Albert interfered in the match tryng to cause Blackman to lose.
**Blackman chased McMahon to the top of the structure in th entryway and threw Shane off, causing him to fall a great distance. Blackman took the same fall when he gave him the big splash from the top of the structure.
**Angle was put through the announce table before the match even started, causing it to be a one-on-one match for the most part.
**Stephanie came out to help Triple H, but Sgt. Slaughter made her go back to the locker room.
**Stephanie convinced Angle to go back into the match to help Triple H.
**When Stephanie came back out, Triple H accidently hit Stephanie. This caused Triple H to get distracted because when he turned around, Angle hit him in the head with the sledgehammer. The Rock rejoined the match, threw out Angle, and covered Triple H for the win.
This is the second SummerSlam, in a row, where the main event was a Triple Threat match for the WWF Championship. Both matches involved Triple H, but he didn't win either of them.
