Sunbeam Sikh

The Sunbeam Sikh was a 64.1 litre aircraft engine of 60 degree V12 configuration. There were six valves per cylinder operated by rockers and push rods. The water cooled engine developed 800hp at 1400 rpm in 1919.

The Sikh II was a single bank 6 cylinder version developed for airships.

In 1928 the Sikh III was developed for the R100 and R101 airships, this being a developent of the original Sikh with 5 valves per cylinder operated by twin overhead camshafts.

No Sikh engines of any version were sold.
