The Sunda Islands are a group of islands in the western part of the Malay Archipelago. They are divided into two groups:

- Lesser Sunda Islands, from west to east

- *Flores
- *Sumba
- *Timor
- *Alor archipelago
- *Barat Daya Islands
- *Tanimbar Islands
Sundanese
The Sundanese are an ethnic group in the western part of the island of Java. The Sundanese are predominantly Muslim. They speak a distinct language which is also known as Basa Sunda.See also
