The SNES Advantage was a large joystick sold for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The device was meant to rest on a flat surface at a comfortable level, such as a tabletop, or the floor while the player was seated in front of it, but was often used while resting on a players lap. The concept was that it could be used like an arcade game joystick, and featured larger buttons. It is used with both hands, one for the joystick and the other to manipulate the buttons.
Features and Differences from the NES advantage
The SNES Advantage was based heavily on the NES Advantage, with a similar set up, function, and features. It included turbo options, a joystick, and support for 2 players, but featured an updated look to match the SNES console, and sliders rather than knobs to control the turbo options, as well as individual turbo buttons.See also
