Super Mario FX
Encyclopedia : S : SU : SUP : Super Mario FX
Super Mario FX was the unofficial name of a Super Nintendo game that was being developed by Shigeru Miyamoto using the Super FX 2 chip. This would have been the first 3D Mario game; however, the project was scrapped and development moved to the Nintendo 64. Some concepts from this game were used in the development of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.
However, it is unknown if any pre-production versions exist. No pictures from any such versions have been released.
