Supersilent

Supersilent is a free electro/jazz improv group on the Rune Grammofon label.
Their debut release was a three CD box set of rugged and harsh improvisational pieces and was simply titled 1-3. 4 and 5 followed soon afterwards and showed the group adding a much more rhythmic sound to their set. The release of the album 6 vaulted Supersilent into critical acclaim. Their next release, 7, is a DVD showcasing Supersilent live.
The band reportedly does not communicate with each other outside of live sets and studio sessions.
Members of the group include Arve Henriksen, an accomplished trumpet player, and Deathprod who handles electronic equipment and synthetic sounds.
