Suratgarh is a city and a municipality in Ganganagar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Geography

Suratgarh is located at [29.32° N 73.9° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Suratgarh]. It has an average elevation of 168 metres (551 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Suratgarh had a population of 58,076. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Suratgarh has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 54%. In Suratgarh, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
