Sursum Corda

The Sursum Corda is the opening dialogue of the Eucharistic Prayer in many Christian traditions. The name is derived from a central part of the dialogue (Latin for "Lift up your hearts!"). While there are some minor deviations in English, the dialogue typically runs as follows:

The dialogue is recorded in the earliest missals of the Christian Church, and is a standard element in Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, and other denominations.
