Suwa clan

The Suwa clan of the Shinano province had more or less unknown ancestors. Even though this is true, many believe that the Suwa clan is descended from Minamoto Tsunetomo. During the middle of the 16th century, the Suwa was defeated by that of the Takeda but later went on as vassals under them.
