Travis Turner incident
There was a student who attended Swift Creek, named Travis Turner. Travis went canoeing with best friend Jordan Sebia, on February 26, 2006. Their canoe tipped over and they died of acute hypothermia. The police later found marijuana in the back pack that they had taken with them. It is believed that they were going to smoke it.External links
