Sylvia Sutherland is a Canadian politician, currently serving as mayor of Peterborough, Ontario.
Sutherland was also a Liberal candidate for Member of Provincial Parliament in the 1995 provincial election, losing to Conservative candidate Gary Stewart.
Sutherland has indicated that she will not seek reelection in the 2006 municipal election.
