T'ung-shan She

T'ung-shan She (同善社, literally Society of Goodness) is a religious group that is one of the Way of Former Heaven sects. The Way of former Heaven sects are syncretic religious groupings that aspire unity of Buddhism and other religions, the largest one of these groupings being I-Kuan Tao. T'ung-Shan She is banned in the People's Republic of China. Members of T'ung-shan She have been persecuted severely. T'ung-shan She was founded in 1912. T'ung-shan She traces its origins to Xian Tian Dao.
