T2 tanker

The T2 tanker, or T2, was a tanker ship constructed and produced in large quantities in the US under World War II to replace vessels sunk. Around 490 were built between 1942 and the end of 1945.
The standard T2 were 159 m (523 feet), 20.7 m abeam (68 feet) with 10,448 GRT and DWT was 16,613. The turbo-electric propulsion system delivered 6,000 shaft horsepower, with a maximum power of 7,240 horsepower giving a top rated speed of about 15 knots with a cruising range of about 12,600 miles.
