Tele Atlas is a provider of digital maps for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Location Based Services (LBS), and automotive navigation system. Among its customers are Blaupunkt, Google Maps, Map24, MapQuest, Microsoft, and TomTom. Tele Atlas is a publicly traded company (TecDAX, Frankfurt; Euronext, Amsterdam) based out of 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, with offices all over the world. Its main rival is Chicago, Illinois based NAVTEQ.
