TV6 Sweden

TV6 is a Swedish TV channel broadcast by Viasat. It was introduced in May 2006 when it was extracted from ZTV, which followed a format similar to MTV. ZTV now solely focuses on music. Due to popular shows staying on TV6, it kept ZTV's slot in most cable or satellite programming.
TV6 focuses on entertainment and occasional but high-profile sports broadcasts (like the UEFA Champions League). Sitcoms and series from the US are popular fixtures, and the channel hosts The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Family Guy, American Dad, Kingdom Hospital, The Contender, Bullshit! and Scrubs. Its inargual night of broadcasting set the tone by scheduling a game from the 2006 ice hockey World Championships and the movie Terminator 3.
It is often seen as the Viasat network's answer to Kanal 5, which follows a similar format.
