TV 2 Zulu is a Danish television station. It started broadcasts on October 15 2000. From the beginning TV 2 Zulu was notable for its humor, originality and personality, and it stood out with its unique Danish programmes, such as the sit-com Langt fra Las Vegas (English: Far Away from Las Vegas) and the program series Åndernes Magt (English: The Power of the Spirits), that started a big spiritual wave in Denmark. "Zulu" also had a hit with FC Zulu which was nominated to an International Emmy in 2005 for best Unscripted Program, but didn't win. Another ongoing Zulu programme is the new sit-com Klovn (English: Clown).

Furthermore, TV2 Zulu introduced the NFL to the Danish viewers, bringing on an innovative kind of sports-commentary. As the frequent commercial breaks of American television don't occur in Denmark, the commentators must fill the breaks in play with talking. They are set in a comfortable studio, eating popcorn, joking and being overall relaxed; this has become somewhat of a role model, not hampered by the ascent in popularity of American football in Denmark.

Zulu appeals especially to viewers between 15 and 40 years, but is also aimed at people at all ages, who are young at heart.
