Talking desktop means a computer that is running software which allows the computer to talk out-loud. Talking (when used in the context of computers) is the ability of software to convert text-to-speech and talk out-loud to the user with computer speakers or a computer headset. Desktop generally means a computer that sits on a desk or table when being used. Talking desktop is a talking and listening speech recognition software program.
