Tamura (田村市; -shi) is a city located in Fukushima, Japan.
The city was founded on March 1, 2005 from the merger of the former towns of Funehiki, Ogoe, Takine, and Tokiwa and the former village of Miyakoji, all from Tamura District.
As of March 2005, the city has an estimated population of 45,052 and a density of 98 persons per km². The total area is 458.30 km².
