Tamworth railway station (Ordnance Survey grid reference ) serves the Staffordshire town of Tamworth. It is located at an important railway junction between the Cross Country Route and the West Coast Main Line (Trent Valley Line section), two of Britain's main train lines.

Typically of railway stations at rail junctions, it has two levels at its station. The high level (platforms 3+4) is part of the Cross Country Route and by Central Trains.

The low level (platforms 1+2) is situated on the West Coast Main Line.
