Tatarimokke

Tatarimokke (タタリモッケ) is a character in the anime and manga series InuYasha. It is called Soul Piper in the English dubbed version.
This yōkai is big, yellow, round, and has a small tail with big eyes that are always closed. It exists both in the Sengoku period and in the modern era.
Tatarimokke's function is to guide good kids' souls to heaven, by playing its flute until they are calm enough to go. With mean-spirited children, the Tatarimokke slowly opens its big eyes as they continue to do bad things. When its eyes are completely open, it takes the bad child to the place where he or she died to send them to hell.
Kagome saved her brother Sota's classmate from being murdered by his dead sister Mayu's angry spirit and helped her soul find peace to go to heaven.
