A tebibit (a contraction of tera binary bit) is a unit of information or computer storage, abbreviated Tibit or sometimes Tib.
The tebibit is closely related to the terabit, which can either be a synonym for tebibit, or refer to 1012 bits = 1,000,000,000,000 bits, depending on context.
