Ted Ross (

2002), born Theodore Ross Roberts in
Zanesville, Ohio, was an American actor who was probably best known for his role as the Lion in the
blaxploitation classic
The Wiz, a parody on the
Wizard of Oz. His last role was in
The Fisher King in
1991. He passed away due to complications from a
stroke.
