Teesside Airport railway station

Encyclopedia : T : TE : TEE : Teesside Airport railway station

Teesside Airport railway station serves Durham Tees Valley Airport which changed its name in 2004. However, the railway station has continued to use the airport's former name. It is in the borough of Darlington and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. Located on the Tees Valley Line and operated by Northern Rail, it is amongst the bottom five UK railway stations for number of services, currently having only one a week in each direction. Public transport to the airport is now better served by the Sky Express bus service from Darlington.
