Tegan Bennett Daylight was born in Sydney in 1969 and is the author of Bombora (1996) (which was short-listed for the Australian/Vogel Literary Award and the Kathleen Mitchell Award), as well as What Falls Away (2001). In 2002 she was named one of the Sydney Morning Herald’s “Best Young Australian Novelists”. Her latest book is "Safety" and is published by Random House.
