The Telugu people are, unsurprisingly, Telugu language speaking people.
Telugu people are primarily located in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India and neighbouring areas like Pondicherry, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra (the areas bordering Andhra Pradesh).
Many have emigrated to countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mauritius, Fiji and Malaysia.
