Temasek Tower is the fifth tallest skyscraper in the city of Singapore, reaching to a height of 235 metres. First built in 1986 as Treasury Building, it has 52 storeys and is one of the historic buildings in the business district. It houses 16 double deck elevators supplied by Otis. It is managed by CapitaLand. Singapore's present Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, had his office built there. BBDO Worldwide hosts it's Asia Pacifc Headqarter in there.
Architecture
- The structure consists of steel beams cantilevered from a cylindrical concrete core. This allows full 360° views at the perimeter, unobstructed by perimeter columns.
