Temeka Rochelle Johnson (born on September 6, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Her primary position is point guard.

Johnson attended Bonnabel High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.College years
Johnson graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005, where she played college basketball and broke LSU’s career assist record.

WNBA career
Johnson was drafted in 2005 with the 2nd overall pick. Upon joining the Mystics she was criticized for being too short to play in a professional basketball . That same year she would walk away with the WNBA 2005 Rookie of the Year award and ranked 2nd in the league in assists. At the beginning of the 2006 season, she was traded to the Los Angeles Sparks.International career
