Teresa Strasser is a writer and TV personality best known for hosting the first season of the home makeover show While You Were Out on TLC. Strasser never considered herself terribly handy but compensated with her sometimes dark sense of humor. (She once told a male homeowner that working on a rather feminine craft project would "complete the emasculazation process.")
Previously, Strasser worked as a writer on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Win Ben Stein's Money. Since leaving While You Were Out she was co-host of Good Day New York and Lovers Lounge on the Game Show Network. She has worked regularly as a freelance writer (for the LA Times and other publications) and frequently appears on VH1 and E!'s various "list" shows.
Recently, Strasser replaced Rachel Perry (with much fanfare) on The Adam Carolla Show as the permanent news girls on the radio program. She was also working as a "love coach" along with JD Roberto on the ABC series How to Get the Guy until its cancelation [link].
