Teucrium

Teucrium is a genus of perennial plants, of the family Lamiaceae. These species are herbs, shrubs or subshrubs. They are native to the Mediterranean region. Common names for this genus include germanders.
Teucrium species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Coleophora case-bearers C. auricella and C. chamaedriella (the latter feeds exclusively on T. chamaedrys).
