Name of two Christian saints:
- Saint Jude
- Thaddaeus of Edessa: one of the Seventy, (or 72), original disciples (besides the Twelve Apostles); according to Eusebius he was sent to Edessa to cure the king Abgar V and founded the Christian church there; he is venerated by the Orthodox churches.
