The Cassandra Complex was formed by Rodney Orpheus and released their first single in 1984. Over the years, the band's sound has included elements of EBM, industrial, Goth Rock, new wave and synthpop. The ever-changing line-up has featured Rodney as the only permanent member. The most recently line-up of the group featured Volker Zacharias, also in Girls Under Glass. The band is currently on hiatus, but Rodney could bring it back at any time.
