The Deep is a 1977 film directed by Peter Yates based on the novel by Peter Benchley.
A pair of young vacationers become involved in a dangerous conflict with drug pushers when they discover a fortune in sunken World War Two-era morphine — and another fortune in 17th century Spanish treasure — in shipwrecks on the Bermuda reefs.
