The Emperor Waltz is a 1948 comedy musical film, directed by Billy Wilder, from a screenplay by Wilder and Charles Brackett. It was released by Paramount Pictures.

It starred Bing Crosby, Joan Fontaine, Roland Culver, Lucile Watson and Richard Haydn, and told the story of a travelling salesman in early 20th century Austria.

It was nominated for two Academy Awards in the category of Best Costume Design, Color, (Edith Head), and Best Music Score (Victor Young).

Wilder and Brackett were also nominated for an award from the Writer's Guild of America for their screenplay.
