The Greek Myths
Encyclopedia : T : TH : THE : The Greek Myths
The Greek Myths (1955) is a compendium of Greek mythology, by the poet and writer Robert Graves, normally published in two volumes. Each myth is presented, in the voice of a narrator writing under the Antonines like Plutarch or Pausanias, with full citations of the classical sources. Each myth is then followed by an interpretation of its origin and significance, in the terms of Graves' other mythological essays, like The White Goddess.
