The J. M. Smucker Company (NYSE: SJM) is a manufacturer and market leader of fruit spreads, ice cream toppings, health and natural foods beverages, and natural peanut butter in North America.

History
The J.M. Smucker Company was founded in 1897 by Jerome Monroe Smucker. The company has been family run for four generations.For almost thirty years until his death in 2005, actor Mason Adams was the TV commercial spokesman for their line of jellies and jams, ending with the famous line, "With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good!"
