<strong>The Marine Society & Sea Cadets</strong> resulted from the merging of The <a href="/term/Navy_League">Navy League</a> (the charity that supported the <a href="/term/Royal_Navy">Royal Navy</a>, and the oldest such organisation worldwide) and <a href="/term/The_Marine_Society">The Marine Society</a>.  The Marine Society & Sea Cadets administers the <a href="/term/Sea_Cadet_Corps_(United_Kingdom)">Sea Cadet Corps</a> in the <a href="/term/United_Kingdom">United Kingdom</a>, and owns the training ship <a href="/term/TS_Royalist">TS Royalist</a>, a <a href="/term/Tall_ship">tall ship</a>, which teaches Sea Cadets teamwork, cameraderie, and seamanship.<p>

It's headquarters are in <a href="/term/Lambeth">Lambeth</a>, in <a href="/term/London">London</a>, in a unique dark red brick building visible from the eastern side of the rail service to and from <a href="/term/Waterloo_Station">Waterloo Station</a>, but almost hidden from the street behind its narrow, comparatively insignificant yet still imposing, arched brick entrance.
