Plot

Part 1

Conan, Kogoro, and Ran decided to have a train ride in the North Star. The three has met up a series of people. In the night, a murder case comes when a burglar kills a jewerly trader, and excapes by using the window. The train stops to find a dead body outside. Conan begins to think that the case is from one of his father's novels.

He decided to make a call, and finds a mysterious lady named Auntie. Ran calls Conan to go to bed. In the morning, Conan decided to investigate the case, with the help of Auntie. He decided to capture her to find her identity.

Part 2

Conan is with the woman, and removes her glasses, revealing to be Yukiko, who has changed her hair style and lipstick color. Conan has learned that Yusaku had made up a trick to capture criminals, but failed. Ran has now called him to come. Kogoro has called all the passengers for a meeting. Conan comes up with a deduction to solve the case.

By the time the train alnds in a train station, all the passengers stepped out. Just then, a killer came to kill Yukiko, but failed when Yusaku stopped him. Yusaku tells everyone that the culprit is Kaetu, who has throw the victim outside the train. The next morning, in the airport, Conan tells Yusaku that he manages to find his tricks. Unfortunately, Yusaku has told him that the trap is fake, and it was for the buyers.

Notes

Third appearance of Yusaku and Yukiko.
Yukiko has changed her hair style and lipstick color in the episode.

Yukiko: Shin chan, you're so bright.
Conan: It wouldn't matter if you were a stranger, but you can't fool your own son by altering your hair style and lipstick color.

Conan: What's your reason for disguising yourself?
Yukiko: Well, why I can't disguise myself? In Japan, I'm so famous.
