The Panic Channel is a supergroup formed in 2004 by Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins, Chris Chaney, and Steve Isaacs. Navarro, Perkins, and Chaney are former members of Jane's Addiction, while Isaacs used to sing / play guitar in Skycycle; The Panic Channel was formed following the third breakup of Jane's Addiction in 2004. The Panic Channel have recently finished recording and mixing their debut album entitled (ONe). Some of the songs from their debut album can be heard on the band's Myspace page. [link].
Despite the group containing three quarters of the Jane's Addiction line-up, Jane's Addiction fans are known to distance themselves from the Panic Channel due to their much more commercial, radio-friendly sound.
The band's debut (double) single (Teahouse of the Spirits / Why Cry) was released exclusively on iTunes in May 2006.
