The Show Place Arena is a 5,800-seat multi-purpose arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. It was home to the Chesapeake Icebreakers ice hockey team and in 2007 will be home to the Chesapeake Tide indoor football team. In the 2004-2005 season of the American Basketball Association, Show Place Arena was home to the Maryland Nighthawks. It is most often used for equestrian events. It hosted the first rounds of the Patriot League men's basketball tournament from 2002 to 2004.
